Conditions applicable to M21Global translation services
Request a Free QuoteM21Global applies all necessary means to carry out a good translation and related services, such as pagination, design and DTP.
M21Global undertakes to maintain strict and absolute confidentiality over all information it has or may come to know in connection with the performance of the contract.
M21Global will respect the terminology and style of the Client when the Client provides a complete terminological glossary.
In the absence of a glossary or style manual provided by the Client, M21Global will use terminology and style considered appropriate, available from recognised sources.
The deadline presented to the Client is indicative and M21Global commits to making its best efforts to meet it.
Delivery of the work shall be considered complete at the moment it is sent by e-mail, post, fax or courier.
M21Global cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivering the work to the Client caused by third-party service providers.
The work is considered definitively accepted, in perfect condition, ten working days after the date of its delivery.
It is the Client's responsibility, upon accepting the delivered product, to verify that it meets their objectives.
M21Global shall be the legitimate owner of all copyright in the translated texts, which may not be used, copied or reproduced in any format until the Client has accepted the translation.
Any complaint about the services provided by M21Global must be submitted in writing, as soon as possible, but no later than ten working days after receipt.
For a complaint to be valid, it must explicitly state the reasons for the lack of quality of the service provided, and the Client must specify in the complaint the parts of the service considered to be of insufficient quality.
Every complaint will be handled so as to deliver the work to the Client under the contracted conditions.
In the event of an irresolvable dispute, the Client may not exempt themselves from payment (nor postpone it) for the part of the work to which the complaint does not apply.
Any complaint relating to invoices must be submitted in writing within ten days of the invoice being issued, failing which it shall be deemed accepted by the Client.
All amounts not paid within the stipulated period shall be subject to the legal interest rate, in accordance with Portuguese legislation.
The Client will not request and M21Global will not accept cancellation of invoices based on a request to change the billing entity.
By requesting a quote and/or awarding a service to M21Global, the requesting party assumes full responsibility for payment of the corresponding invoice, regardless of whether they request billing in the name of a third-party entity.
In the event of late payment, the parties agree in advance that M21Global may suspend ongoing work, and as a penalty clause, a surcharge of eight per cent (8%), with a minimum of €300.00, shall apply.
In the event any liability is attributable to M21Global, such liability shall never exceed the invoiced amount.
In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of any provisions of these General Conditions, the chosen jurisdiction shall be the District of Lisbon.
